Managed IT & cyber security

Managed IT and cyber security website design examples

Three designs you can browse. Four live sites we built for one group. Pick one and we start there.

What makes a good managed IT or cyber security website?

A page per service rather than one catch-all list, accreditations that are real and current, clear detail on how support reaches a human, and compliance written for the person signing it off. It also has to be genuinely fast and technically clean, because prospects read an IT firm's own site as evidence of how it works.

Managed IT is sold on competence, and competence is mostly demonstrated by not getting anything wrong. A slow site with a broken form is a live argument against hiring the firm that built it, which is why this sector punishes a weak website harder than most.

It is also a sector where one owner often runs several propositions at once: the group, the support arm, the security arm, the transformation arm. Each needs to stand on its own in search without quietly competing with the other three.

What usually goes wrong

Four services, one page

Support, security, cloud and transformation are four different buyers with four different budgets.

Jargon doing the work of proof

"End-to-end solutions" tells a prospect nothing. Accreditations and named frameworks do.

A technical firm with a slow site

Nothing undermines an IT company faster than its own Core Web Vitals.

Sister companies competing in search

Run several brands without a structure and they cannibalise each other's rankings.

The brief

What it has to do

A page per service, properly built

Managed support, cyber security, compliance, cloud, transformation. Each is its own search.

Accreditations that are real and current

Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, vendor partner tiers. Named, dated and verifiable, never implied.

Proof you respond

Response times, support hours and how a ticket actually reaches a human.

Compliance written for the buyer

The person procuring security is often answering to an auditor, not an engineer.

A machine layer that is right

Schema, llms.txt and clean structure. AI engines describe a firm by what its markup leads with.

Performance you would be happy to be audited on

In this sector the site is a work sample whether you intended it to be or not.

stiperstone.co Live
Stiperstone Group website, designed and built by HDC Consultancy

Stiperstone Group

The parent brand covering managed IT, cyber security and IT transformation. A group site has to explain how several businesses relate without burying any of them or stealing their search terms.

  • Group-level positioning
  • Routes into each operating brand
  • Static build, no client JS
  • 13 pages
stiperstone.uk Live
Stiperstone Managed Service website, designed and built by HDC Consultancy

Stiperstone Managed Service

The managed IT support and cyber security arm, sold to businesses that want a help desk that answers. Separate domain, separate proposition, deliberately not competing with the group site.

  • Service-led page structure
  • Support and response detail up front
  • Lead capture with bot protection
  • 29 pages
elevance.co
Elevance website, designed and built by HDC Consultancy

Elevance

Digital transformation for UK enterprise, aimed at a larger and more senior buyer than the support business. The biggest of the four, built as static pages with interactive islands only where they earn their place.

  • Enterprise-level content depth
  • React islands on a static shell
  • Transformation service architecture
  • 50 pages
cyberdataservices.uk
Cyber Data Services website, designed and built by HDC Consultancy

Cyber Data Services

Cyber security and compliance, where the buyer is frequently answering to an auditor. Compliance frameworks had to be explained for the person signing them off rather than the person implementing them.

  • Framework explainers
  • Full schema coverage
  • 42 pages

Common questions

What should a managed IT website include?

A page for each service rather than one list, accreditations that are real and current, clear detail on how support actually reaches a human, and compliance content written for the person signing it off. It also has to be fast and technically clean, because in this sector the website is read as a work sample whether you intended it that way or not.

How do you run several IT brands without them competing in search?

Give each a distinct proposition and a distinct set of target searches, then keep the structure honest about how they relate. The group brand carries the overarching positioning, each operating brand owns its own services, and they link to each other deliberately rather than duplicating each other's content. The four sites on this page are one owner's group, built that way on purpose.

Does a cyber security company need a different site from an IT support company?

Usually yes, because the buyers differ. IT support is bought by someone who wants problems to stop. Cyber security and compliance are frequently bought by someone answering to an auditor, a client questionnaire or an insurer. Merging them tends to produce content that is too technical for one and too shallow for the other.

What accreditations should we show?

The ones you actually hold, named and current. Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and vendor partner tiers all carry real weight with a procurement team. We will not display a badge you have not earned or imply a certification that has lapsed, because in security that is the one thing a prospect is most likely to verify.

How do managed IT firms get found on Google?

Service pages crossed with the areas or sectors you serve, plus genuine depth on the questions buyers actually ask about response times, onboarding and compliance. Generic "IT solutions" pages rarely rank. The machine layer matters more here than in most sectors too, because AI assistants are increasingly where a shortlist starts.

Can you build several related sites at once?

Yes, and it is usually cheaper and more coherent than doing them one at a time. The four Stiperstone group sites share an approach and a build pipeline while staying genuinely separate propositions, which is what stops them reading as the same site four times.
