One fixed price, agreed up front

We quote every project individually rather than publishing a rate card, because the same brief can be a very different job. You get one itemised number in writing before anything starts — no hourly billing, no hidden extras.

How much does a website or marketing campaign from HDC cost?

We price every project individually rather than publishing a rate card. Scope varies enormously — a five-page brochure site and a booking platform are different jobs — so we scope yours on a free consultation and give you one fixed, itemised number before any work starts. No hourly billing, no hidden extras.

How we price

Four things are true of every quote we give, whatever the size of the job.

One fixed price, agreed before we start

You get a single itemised number in writing, not an hourly rate that drifts. If the scope changes later, we agree that change and its cost before anyone does the work.

No hidden extras

Any third-party cost — premium plugins, API fees, ad spend, stock imagery — is spelled out in your proposal. You will never get an invoice for something you did not approve.

Priced on the outcome, not the hours

We quote against what the work is worth to your business, not how long it takes us. Getting faster does not make you pay more, and it does not make us cut corners.

You own everything

The website, the domain, the ad accounts and the data are yours from day one. Nothing is rented back to you and there is no platform you cannot leave.

What's in every build

These are not upsells or optional extras. Whatever the size of the project, this is the floor — because a website without them is not finished, whatever it cost.

What moves the number

We can't give you a figure without knowing your project, but we can tell you exactly what we'll be looking at — so you can work out roughly where you sit before you even speak to us.

How many pages, and how different they are

Twenty pages built from three templates is a smaller job than six pages that each need their own design. It is the number of distinct layouts that drives the work, not the page count.

What it has to connect to

A contact form is straightforward. A booking system, payment gateway, live stock feed, customer portal or CRM sync each add real build and testing time.

Who writes the content

If you supply copy and photography, the project is shorter. If we research and write it, or arrange a shoot, that is scoped in.

Whether it is a rebuild or a rescue

Starting fresh is often cheaper than untangling a site with broken tracking, thin content and a decade of plugins. We tell you honestly which one you are.

What happens after launch

A site handed over and left alone costs less than one we maintain, improve and market month to month. Both are legitimate choices and we will say which we think you need.

How competitive your market is

For ads and SEO, the amount of work needed to compete in a crowded national market is different from a local trade in Shropshire. We size the effort to the fight.

Getting your price

Three steps, no charge, no obligation at any point.

  1. Step 1 · Free consultation

    Tell us what you need

A short, no-obligation conversation about your business, what is not working and what a good outcome looks like. Harry will be in touch personally.

  2. Step 2 · Scope and audit

    We look properly

We review your current site and marketing, and pin down exactly what the work involves. You get an honest view of what to fix first, whether or not you hire us.

  3. Step 3 · Fixed proposal

    One number, itemised

A written proposal with the scope, the timeline and a single fixed price. You see the number before you commit to anything.

Pricing questions

Why do you not publish your prices?

Because a published rate card would be misleading for most of the people reading it. The same "five-page website" can be a two-week job or a two-month one depending on integrations, content and what it has to achieve. Rather than post a number you would have to caveat, we scope your project properly and give you one fixed price before you commit.

How do I get a price?

Tell us what you need through the enquiry form or the free audit, and we will come back to arrange a short conversation. After that you get a written proposal with the scope, the timeline and a single fixed number. There is no charge and no obligation at any point in that process.

Do you charge by the hour?

No. Projects are quoted as one fixed price agreed in advance, so you are never exposed to a running meter. Ongoing work such as care plans and marketing is a rolling monthly fee, also agreed up front.

How does payment work?

One-off builds are 50% upfront to schedule your project, with the balance due on handover. Care plans and marketing are rolling monthly with 30 days’ notice to cancel.

Are there any hidden fees?

Never. Any third-party costs — premium plugins, API fees, ad spend — are spelled out in your proposal before you commit. If something genuinely changes mid-project, we agree the change and its cost with you before doing the work.

Is ongoing support a long-term contract?

No. Care plans and marketing are rolling monthly and you can cancel any time with 30 days’ written notice. The build and the ongoing support are separate services — you can take one without the other, though we usually recommend some level of care to keep a site secure and performing.

Will you tell me if I do not need what I am asking for?

Yes, and we would rather do that than sell you something oversized. Part of the free audit is telling you honestly what would move the needle first. Sometimes that is a smaller job than you expected, and occasionally it is nothing at all.

Want a number for your project?
