Car & van hire
Five designs you can browse. Three live sites we built, from everyday van hire to supercars. Pick one and we start there.
A quote route somebody can complete in about a minute, plain terms on mileage, term length and what is included, and honesty about where you sit in the chain: broker, lessor or rental operator. Business customers check that before anything else, because it decides who their agreement is actually with, and a site that is vague about it loses them before the quote.
Car hire is search-led. Someone needs a van on Tuesday, scans two or three results, and books with whoever makes it easiest.
If they have to ask what's available, most won't.
"Call me about a van" isn't a lead. It's homework.
No organic visibility means paying Google for traffic you should already own.
First to reply usually wins. Hire enquiries don't stop at five.

The brief
Let them self-qualify before they contact you.
Hire is date-driven. Put it above the fold.
Often enquiring from beside a broken-down vehicle.
Location and vehicle pages make ads a choice, not the only tap.
Dates, vehicle and budget captured up front.
Automated reply, plus an assistant for the obvious questions.
Real work, live right now
Live websites you can click into and use.
Supercars and prestige vehicles, delivered. At this end of the market the website is the showroom, so it has to carry the car rather than list it.
500+ enquiries, Feb to June 2026
Cars and vans from Shrewsbury. The fleet was growing; the website was still a brochure.
The parent group behind DriveOn. A group site has to make sense of several businesses without burying any of them.
Tell us where you are now. We'll come back with honest options.
Want more than a website?
Website, CRM, automations, AI chatbot, email marketing, Google and Meta ads, branding and hosting — built and wired together so you can get on with running the business.
Fast Track Leasing runs on it and gets around five enquiries a day from search, with nothing spent on ads.
See the package for car & van hireA browsable fleet with indicative prices, a date-driven enquiry form above the fold, clear terms on deposits and mileage, and a mobile experience built for someone enquiring from their phone. Organic visibility through location and vehicle pages is what separates a good hire site from an average one.
It depends on whether you need live inventory. A brochure-plus-enquiry site for a single branch is a different job from a searchable fleet with real availability. We quote against what the site has to do, and we'll say if the simpler build is the right answer for now.
Three are on this page: DriveOn Vehicle Rental, KR Automotive Group and Performance & Prestige. Real working sites, not mockups. DriveOn took more than 500 enquiries between February and June 2026. If you are leasing rather than hiring out by the day, the leasing and fleet examples are on their own pages.
Weeks rather than months for a focused site. Live inventory, availability and an application wired to your back office add time, so we scope those separately — you can launch the core site and add them after.
Usually yes, and often it's the better option. If your current site ranks for anything we protect those URLs and redirect carefully rather than starting from zero.
Three things do most of the work. First, a page for every location you genuinely serve, with real content rather than a town name swapped in — Google is good at spotting the difference. Second, a page per vehicle or vehicle type, because "hire a Transit in Shrewsbury" is a real search and a generic fleet page will not rank for it. Third, answer-first content: short, direct answers to the questions people actually ask about deposits, mileage, insurance and minimum age. That last one increasingly matters for AI search too, since ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews tend to lift the opening line of a well-structured answer.
Almost always yes. The common objection is that prices vary by term, mileage and risk profile, which is true — but showing an indicative from-price with an honest caveat converts far better than hiding it. A visitor who cannot see roughly what something costs assumes the worst and checks a competitor. Every design in this library shows a from-price for exactly that reason.
For most independent hire firms, a well-built enquiry form is enough and considerably cheaper. Full online booking earns its keep when you have real-time availability worth exposing and enough volume that manual handling becomes the bottleneck. The middle ground, and usually the right answer, is an enquiry that captures dates, vehicle type and budget so the first call is a closing conversation rather than a qualifying one.
Rental is date-driven and short-cycle, so availability and speed matter most. Leasing is a considered purchase over months or years, so the site has to carry credit, affordability and eligibility content, and usually an application rather than a booking. DriveOn on this page is the rental pattern; the leasing pattern has its own page, with Fast Track Leasing on it. The visual direction can be identical — the underlying structure is not.
Often, yes. It depends on whether your system exposes an API or a feed. Where it does, we can pull live availability and pricing straight through. Where it does not, we usually build a lightweight inventory the team can update, which is less elegant but keeps the site honest. We will look at what you are running before promising anything.
Yes, and the differences matter. Van hire skews more heavily to business customers and trades, which changes the priorities: account terms, VAT-inclusive pricing, load dimensions and same-week availability all move up the page. Several of the designs here handle both, with vans as a first-class category rather than an afterthought.
