Ivy Care Management provides safe, accompanied, door-to-door transport for vulnerable adults across Shrewsbury and the surrounding area, working alongside councils, care providers and families. This was never a project about chasing leads. It was about earning trust from the people who decide whether a service like this is safe to rely on.
The challenge
The audience that matters here, council commissioners, care teams and families, judges on credibility, not cleverness. A transport service for vulnerable adults has to feel calm, accountable and completely reliable before anyone will place a person in its care. So the site had to project genuine professionalism and answer a commissioner’s real questions, while being careful never to claim more than the business can stand behind.
A calm, credible site, built for council eyes
We built dedicated Working With Councils and Safeguarding pages that speak directly to commissioners, anchored by a simple, human promise, Safe, Reliable, Respectful, and person-first language throughout. It is fast, static web development and quiet, considered design doing a serious job: making a careful service look exactly as trustworthy as it is.

Honesty as the design principle
The strongest thing about this site is what it does not claim. Details like DBS checks, driver training and insurance are deliberately held back until the client confirms them, rather than invented to fill a page, because a commissioner can spot a hollow claim instantly, and one bad claim costs all the trust. That restraint is the credibility. It is also our first rule on every project: no fabricated data, ever.
Accessible and private by default
For an audience that includes people with additional needs, accessibility is not optional, so the site is built to WCAG 2.1 AA, with a skip link, full keyboard operation, a focus-trapped menu, reduced-motion support and properly labelled forms. Analytics are consent-first: nothing tracking loads until the visitor accepts, and per-page structured data helps the right people find the service. This is the standard our technical and SEO work holds by default.
A quiet, reliable enquiry path
The contact form lets a council, provider or family identify who they are, then posts to a Cloudflare Function, protected by a honeypot and consent, that routes the enquiry straight to the team. No pressure tactics, no funnels, just a calm, dependable way to start a conversation, which is exactly right for this audience.
A brand that fits the work
Alongside the build we proposed a gentle ivy-leaf identity in calm greens, held for the client’s sign-off. It is a considered piece of branding that matches the tone of the service, warm, careful and quietly professional.
The result
A website that does a quiet, important job well: making a genuinely careful service look as trustworthy as it is, for the eyes that matter most. It is the approach we bring across professional services, where credibility, accessibility and honesty win the work.
