The Complete Setup · Construction & trades firms

Website, CRM & marketing package for construction firms

The whole front end of a construction business, built and wired together. Website, CRM, automations, chatbot, email, ads, branding. You run the sites.

Price on application. Scoped per business — you see the number before anything starts.

Most construction work still arrives the same three ways: repeat clients, word of mouth, and whoever the buyer finds when their usual firm is booked up. Only the third one grows on purpose, and it is won on search, before anyone rings you.

The second problem starts after the enquiry. A job runs from survey to quote to programme to sign-off to retention release, and most firms track that in a WhatsApp thread, a diary and somebody's head. The quote that went quiet is the cheapest work you will ever lose.

Questions

What is included in a complete website and CRM package for a construction firm?

The whole front end of the business: a website built for search and AI answer engines, hosting and domain, branding and graphics, a CRM configured around a build pipeline rather than generic sales stages, the automations that carry a job from survey to quote to sign-off, an AI chatbot for out-of-hours questions, email marketing, and Google and Meta accounts set up and tracked properly. It is scoped per firm, so whatever already works we leave alone.

How much does it cost?

Price on application, and that is not evasion. The scope genuinely varies: a two-van firm needs a different build to a contractor with a commercial arm and a tender pipeline. Some firms already have branding, some need their estimating system connecting rather than replacing, some want ads from day one. We scope it, price it, and you see the number before anything starts. Publishing a headline figure we would not honour helps nobody.

How quickly can a construction firm start getting enquiries?

It depends how competitive your area is and how much of the stack you need. What we can point to is Fast Track Leasing: around five enquiries a day from search, with £0 spent on ads to get them, off the back of 400+ pages answering what customers search for. That is a different market to construction and we would not promise you the same numbers. Organic compounds over months. If you need work sooner, ads run alongside while the content builds.

Do I need a CRM if I already use job management software?

Usually yes, because they do different jobs. Job management software runs the work you have already won: programme, labour, materials, valuations. A CRM runs everything before that — the enquiry, the survey, the quote nobody answered, the client you priced for eighteen months ago who is now ready to go. Most firms have a decent record of jobs won and no record at all of the ones they lost. We connect the two rather than replace what works.

Can it handle subcontractor compliance documents?

Yes, and it is one of the more useful parts. Insurance certificates, RAMS, method statements and card checks sit against the subcontractor record rather than in an email thread, and the system asks for the new one before the old one expires. When a client or a main contractor asks for the file, it is already assembled. We build that workflow around the documents you actually get asked for, not a generic checklist.

Does this work for commercial and main-contractor work rather than domestic?

Yes, though it looks different. Tender-led firms are not chasing volume enquiries, so the site's job is credibility: projects with real photography, sectors, accreditations, named people, and content that survives a procurement team reading it. The CRM then tracks opportunities, pre-qualification questionnaires and framework dates instead of domestic leads. If most of your work comes from three main contractors, we will say so and focus on retention rather than selling you ads.

Can the automations work with the systems we already use?

Usually. Estimating, job management and accounting packages generally offer an API, a webhook or at minimum a scheduled export, and where they do we wire straight in, CIS-aware accounting included. Some older estimating tools are genuinely closed. Where that is the case we say so up front and build around it, normally by making the CRM the front end and pushing a clean handover into the other system. We work that out during scoping, not after you have paid.

Who actually does the work?

We do, end to end. The reason this is one package rather than five suppliers is that the handovers are where these projects fail: the developer blames the marketer, the CRM consultant blames the developer, and you are project-managing all of them from a site cabin. HDC covers development, marketing, CRM, integration and process design in one team, so there is one number to ring when something needs changing.
