The documents a working web agency runs on
What is in the HDC Academy template library?
These are the client-facing documents a working UK web agency runs on: proposals, scope, onboarding, handover, care plans and reporting. Each page explains every section of the document, shows a filled example, and gives you the editable file. The teaching is free to read with nothing to sign up for.
Most template pages hand you a file and leave. These explain what every section is for, where each one goes wrong, and what a filled version looks like, because the document is the easy part and knowing why it says what it says is the rest.

Guides that go with them
The pricing and process questions the documents assume you have already answered.

What to charge for website maintenance
The practitioner's side of a question the internet only answers for buyers: how to set your own maintenance price and defend it.

How to price a website project
Scope it, estimate it privately, quote one fixed number, and protect that number with a change process. The method, not a rate card.

All of them are on the guides index.
Nobody has taken an HDC Academy course yet, so there are no student numbers, reviews or results on this page. What is here is the process we use on client work, written out.
Questions about the templates
Are these templates really free?
Yes. Every template is written out in full on its own page, free to read and copy, with nothing to sign up for. If you want the editable file we ask for an email address so we can send it, and the marketing opt-in beside it is separate and optional.
Can I use these documents with my own clients?
That is what they are for. Change the wording to suit how you work, put your own prices in, and have a solicitor review anything you intend to use commercially. They are a starting point based on our own practice, not legal advice.
Where do these templates come from?
From the written library HDC Consultancy delivers client work to: the standards, checklists and client-facing documents the agency actually runs on. The Academy courses teach the system they belong to. Client names, figures and commercial terms are removed before anything is published here.
Do I need to buy a course to use them?
No. Nothing here requires a purchase and there is nothing to buy yet — the courses are still in development. The templates stand on their own.
