Senior Web Developer
A senior full-stack web developer role at HDC Consultancy. You design in Figma and build the front and back end yourself, taking client sites from blank canvas to launch with minimal hand-holding. Fully remote, UK-based, long-term.

The role
A senior full-stack role with a heavy design element. You design the site in Figma, build the front and back end, wire up the integrations and put it live. We are not set up to train someone into this, so it suits a developer with a few years behind them who wants steady, long-term work.
You design and build high-performance websites end to end. Clean, conversion-focused UI in Figma, turned into pixel-perfect React and Tailwind. Behind it, proper back-end work: APIs, databases, auth, integrations.
You hold technical SEO to a high standard, wire up CRMs, analytics and automations, build custom WordPress where a project needs it, and use AI tools to move faster. Fully remote and async on Teams.
What you'll do
- 1 Design and build high-performance websites end to end, concept to deployment
- 2 Create clean, conversion-focused UI in Figma and turn it into pixel-perfect builds
- 3 Front-end in React and Tailwind; back-end APIs, databases, auth and integrations
- 4 Implement technical SEO to a high standard: semantic markup, JSON-LD, Core Web Vitals
- 5 Integrate CRMs, automation, analytics and third-party services (Zapier, webhooks, GA4)
- 6 Build custom WordPress where required, and use AI tools across your workflow
What we need from you
The essentials. If you have these, apply.
- 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Advanced React and modern JavaScript, with solid back-end (Node, APIs, databases)
- A design eye of your own. You can take an empty Figma file to a clean, professional layout
- Strong technical SEO: structured data, Core Web Vitals, performance, indexing
- Strong Tailwind and pixel-perfect, responsive implementation
- A portfolio showing both design quality and technical strength
Helpful, but not required

- Vite, Astro, Next.js or headless CMS experience
- Deploying to Cloudflare, Vercel or similar
- Custom WordPress builds (not just page builders)
- Integrating AI assistants/chatbots into client sites, plus CRO
